Today i worked towards finishing my research, i managed to finish of my research on the many different types of animation techniques there are and i have now began my research on a topic of my choice which has something to do with animation, i plant o have this finished on the wednesday as tomorow theres no college and i currewntly have no internet at home.

Today we began a developement through our project by first making flip books, i made mine about a bullet traveling through objects, we then went on to producing our first short animation, and we began planning it on a story board, ive decided to do mine on the imagination of a child which is hand drawn by me. i plan to scan and upload these pictures into photoshop to make them into an animation.

Today we learnt how to create animation using a traumascope, we hand drew pictures onto round papper and then placed a wire between the back of them, after doing this we were then able to produce a seconds worth of animation by spinning the string, i decided to do a stick man riding a missle into an explosion, it worked a little bit but i think i should have done it more simple in order for it to work better. after i had made this i then carried on with my research into animation.

We also went through flick book animation and a machine called a mutescope which was invented by thomas edison, we were shown a presentation on this and i found this usefull especialy as we will be making flick book animations in the near future.

Today we began our research into animation and the different types of animation there were. John our tutor gave us a presentation on the different types of animation to give us an idea of the different types. we were then asked to produce our own presentation in which we had to complete six slide. each of these slides would explain a different type of animation. i manage to get four out of six slides done and i plan to finish the rest tommorow.

Today we began to finish up the final editing of our podcasts, as we took it in turns by doing sections each. we also continued with our initial research and began attempting ti finish all ten pages of the required research, so far we have five shared research and i personaly have four research documents, so ive nearly finished my research and i will probably be finishing it tommorow along with the podcast.

Today we started our recording of our podcast but first we finished our scripts and the line that we would be reading, we also put down key points that we would bring up during the podcast, we signed out a sounbooth room in the library and set up inside to begin our podcast, their were quite a few mistakes however im happy to say that none of them were my fault as i was the only one who didnt screw up a line, after we had finished recording we returned to the class to update blogs and finish the lesson.

Today we started to produce our breakdown script of what we would be doing and then another script about what were gonna say, we all wrote what we would like to say and discussed about what sort of questions we would ask and be answering. after we were happy with what we were going to be talking about we began writing it up in detail.
